Rifle Taping 101
Use these three steps to properly tape your rifles for durability and extended life
Remove bolt and strap before taping. Add strapping tape to mid-section and both ends of the rifle. Use 1” strapping tape for less bulk.
Cover strapping tape with white vinyl tape or 2" white Duct Tape. This adds additional protection, as well as provides a cleaner look by covering the strapping tape.
Screw bolt and strap back on the rifle, taking care not to overtighten.
